Privacy & choices

You can browse the archive without agreeing to advertising cookies. We use Cloudflare to deliver the site and Google AdSense to support it with advertising. We use consent-aware Google Analytics on public catalogue pages to understand aggregate readership. Refusing optional measurement does not limit the archive.

Data saved on this device

If you validate a contribution, its text and source details are saved as a draft in this browser. The selected file is not saved or uploaded. The optional patron preview saves only a local display preference; it is not a paid membership or an ad-free entitlement. Both stay on this device until you clear them or your browser clears site data. We do not receive these drafts through this page.

Site delivery

Cloudflare serves the website and its public media. Requests necessarily disclose your IP address, browser information, requested URL and time to Cloudflare to deliver and protect the service. Our basis for necessary delivery and security processing is our legitimate interest in operating a reliable website. Private audio originals and rights evidence are not served through this website. SeeCloudflare's privacy policy.

Audience measurement

Google Analytics measurement ID G-M1XG2QD2ML measures page visits on the home page, catalogue index and individual car passports, together with Google's routine session and engagement metrics. We use those reports to understand which archive content readers visit. Enhanced Measurement is off and we do not send custom interaction events. The integration removes query strings from the page and referrer URLs before configuration and does not send contribution drafts, selected files, account identity, VINs, registrations, exact recording locations, ownership evidence or future game answers. Google Signals, granular location and device collection, and advertising-personalisation signals are disabled for this measurement path.

In the EEA, UK and Switzerland, and when the consent state is unknown, the Analytics script is not requested until Google's message reports that analytics storage is granted. A denied, unavailable or unconfigured analytics choice keeps it off. Outside those regions, Google's consent service may report that the choice is not applicable and allow the tag to load. When permitted, Google receives the page path and title, a query-free referrer, time, general browser and device information, and network data needed to receive the request. It may set first-party Analytics cookies. Consent is our basis for optional Analytics storage and measurement where required. Event-level and user-level data are configured for two-month retention; aggregated reports may remain longer. Seehow Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Use the Privacy and cookie settings button in the footer to change or withdraw your choice. Withdrawal disables Analytics, removes accessible first-party Google Analytics cookies and reloads the page so further catalogue measurement stays off. Withdrawal does not undo processing that already occurred.

Advertising choices

Google AdSense can place ads across the archive. Its script loads to present Google's consent message where required. In the EEA, UK and Switzerland, and when location is unavailable, ad requests remain paused until a completed consent choice includes storage/access consent. You can refuse on the first screen. Refusal or a blocked consent message means no ads are requested on that visit. Outside those regions, Google may load ads under its location-specific controls. Google and its ad technology providers may use cookies or similar identifiers for ad delivery, measurement and personalization when allowed by your choices and applicable law. Consent is the basis for optional advertising storage and personalized processing where required. The message lists its providers and purposes. To change or withdraw a choice, use the Privacy and cookie settings button in the footer. You can also clear this site's cookies in your browser. Withdrawal does not change processing that already occurred.

Your rights and questions

Contact info@redlinecodex.comto ask about access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability where applicable. We may need to verify a request. You can complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority or your local supervisory authority. We use providers that may process data outside Belgium; their applicable safeguards and retention terms are described in their policies. Operational records are kept only as needed for delivery, security, legal obligations and disputes, then deleted or anonymized according to the relevant provider's retention terms.
